At the height of happy moment, I was the center of attraction.
People smiled at me and praised my glaring presence.
And now when happiness is over I am set aside and neglected.
Would you only care when I was useful?
Thank God that I am a piece of plastic and wood.
Would you care if I am human?

The soapstone and the solid stone reveal their quality in time.
The soapstone breaks under the test of sun's long scorching heat,
and with the salty water that submerges it at high tide.
The solid stone stands firm and intact,
it even becomes smoother and prettier as the waves wash it away.
You will know the kind of friendship that you have as the various tests come.

Any trivial act, though seemingly insignificant is very valuable than a dead person,
whose body can no longer execute even a single act.
All deeds are acts and signs of life and nothing is wasted nor unappreciated
because even crumbs from your food are happily welcomed by thousands of ants.
Just celebrate that until now you have life at this moment.
It is more important than anything else.
Just enjoy it and at the same time share it.
However, put a limit to your undertaking
so that life will not be placed in the brink of untimely death.
This rule does take care of you, "Do it one at a time."

In order for a twig to remain in the branch
it must remain thin and light.
It must not aim to be big and heavy as the trunk
or else branches will break and it will die.
If it aims to be a trunk
it must prepare itself for the hurt and wound
with the skin scraped off with a knife,
it must be patient to wait for the roots to grow
until such time it is ready to be separated and planted.
However not all twigs who wished to be a trunk lived,
Some died early during the painful process.
Just be ready.

Simplicity.....
Fundamentally, it is a true and everlasting love with someone.
But how to find it?
It is NOT through eyes but through the ways of ears.
Eyes may be deceived but ears know the soul of love.
Eyes desire for more and quickly fall in love with another.
Ears decipher and long for the words of true love .
Eyes judge quickly while ears listen first before judging.
It is NO wonder that blind couple never leave each other,
because their ears taught them the way to pure love.
Whereas many seeing couple did part ways
because their eyes had shown them many that led to confusion.
Eyes desire for more, leads to discontentment and disappointment.
Look to the icon of justice, though she has eyes, she preferred to be blindfolded,
so that her judgment will NOT be blemished with bias and prejudice.
For good judgment made through the ears will make her happy and at peace.
The heart wants happiness through the channel of ears.
If you use your eyes, know and learn the ways of ears.
